Heil's 2nd Annual Harvest Festival
On October 11, 2014, Heil hosted it's 2nd Annual Harvest Festival on the Heil campus in Ft. Payne, AL. The event was open to the public and all proceeds benefited Patriot's Park, a new Veteran's Park being constructed in Ft. Payne.
Activities at the festival included bingo, a forklift rodeo, face painting, pony rides, a petting zoo, and many more! Guests were invited inside to take a tour of the manufacturing facility to see how a garbage truck is actually made. They were also given the opportunity to take a spin around the test track in one of Heil's awesome front or rear loading trucks.
In conjunction with the Harvest Festival, Heil was also selected to host a Manufacturing Day event sponsored by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). NAM is the largest manufacturing association in the United States. This organization is focused on raising awareness for manufacturers within the United States and is dedicated to creating policies that will enable them to be successful for years to come.
A special thanks to all ESG and Heil employees that participated in making this day a huge success. We hope to see everyone again next year!
