OK International was founded in 1946, as OK Machine & Tool Corporation and was acquired by Dover in 2000. The company evolved from a specialist machining operation to become a leading supplier of tools and equipment for the electronics workbench, printed circuit board assembly, and repair and rework industry.
Through internal product development and strategic acquisitions, OK International provides solution-based technologies to electronics manufacturing industries throughout the world. Leading products from OK International include a range of soldering and rework equipment, fluid dispensing systems and fume extraction systems.
Products are sold through wholly owned subsidiaries in the Americas, France, Italy, Germany, U.K., Japan and China. Products are also sold through a network of distributors worldwide. OK International is committed to technological leadership and customer driven solutions and works closely with its customers and sales channel to engineer products that suit market needs.
With almost 50% of its business overseas, OK International is also driven to support its customers worldwide. And, as these new geographic markets have emerged, and its customer base has expanded, OK International has met these challenges by providing local support and manufacturing capability. One such region is China, which OK International views as a major component of future growth.
