Through our summer internship, our goal is to provide meaningful engagements and challenging opportunities to rising-Seniors who are looking for more than your typical internship over their summer. After completing your project(s), you will have an opportunity to present your results to senior company leadership and get real-time, immediate feedback on your work-product. The goal of our internship is to give you a feeling for a meaningful working experience in a global company, while we get an opportunity to see what you can do when presented with challenges and opportunities. At the end of the internship, you may leave with an offer in-hand for full-time employment* following your expected graduation.
After graduation, new hires will engage in a 24-month rotational leadership program consisting of two different assignments (12-months each) across Dover’s business segments. In each assignment, participants will take meaningful IT assignments in the areas of business systems development, security operations, business intelligence, Data analytics, project management, process automation, machine learning, and many more! With support and mentorship from local and Dover corporate leadership, each assignment will offer a hands-on, supportive environment that fosters both formal and informal learning and development, while delivering business value.
Who we are looking for
Dover is seeking rising seniors who wish to gain experience through functional role assignments and accelerated exposure to a broad array of complex information technology environments across Dover’s diverse businesses. If the following qualifications and attributes mirror your resume, this program may be a perfect fit:
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in related field (Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.)
- Expected graduation of December 2025 or May 2026 required
- Strong interest in information technology careers
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a global business environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interest in how information technology supports business processes.
- Demonstrates attention to detail /excellent time management skills
- Geographical flexibility – open to relocate for summer internship and then subsequently upon
graduation for rotational assignments - relocation will be required - Comfortable in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask
