Dover Corporation believes in equipping children with the schooling needed for a bright future, and places an importance on supporting STEM education opportunities for youth.
Dover’s commitment to this cause led to the second annual Dover Youth Education Night at the Chicago Wolves hockey game on Saturday, October 28, 2017.
Dover donated 500 tickets to local youth education organizations and STEM groups for the Wolves’ American Hockey League game. Children with a passion to learn were able to experience the game, and the represented organizations were recognized for their work in driving STEM learning. Many Dover employees and their families also attended the game.
“With each passing year, it becomes more clear that education — particularly STEM learning — is a critical component to unlocking a bright future,” said Wolves president Mike Gordon. “The Wolves commend Dover’s willingness to help children and we’re proud to recognize those who are a part of STEM-related groups and other educational organizations.”
