Gads Hill Center, a social service organization, recently expanded their student robotics teams. The students are learning the basics of building a robot, including how to write code to have the robots accomplish tasks. Next fall, the students will compete against other local robotics team with a chance to win college scholarships.

“This is my first time ever doing robotics,” stated Beatrice Solis, a junior at Back of the Yards High School in Chicago, IL. “I am a little nervous, but excited because it is an opportunity that is not offered at my high school. I am ready to learn something new.”
