The Warn Employee Community Impact Project Raises over $20,000 for Local Charities at 4th Annual Golf Tournament

The Warn Employee Community Impact Project (WECIP)—supported jointly by the volunteer efforts of employees from Warn Industries and Warn Automotive—raised over $20,000 for local organizations that provide needed support in and around Clackamas County at the 4th Annual WECIP Golf Tournament held in late summer 2018.

Eighty-four golfers participated in an 18-hole modified scramble at the Oregon City Golf Club at Lone Oak, raising funds for local organizations that support a variety of social issues. In addition to contests, games played included Numbered Ball, Bubba Hole and Dice Hole. A hosted BBQ luncheon and raffle was held after the tournament with all proceeds being donated to the WECIP fund.

“The WECIP Golf Tournament was a huge success this year. Our sponsors, partners and volunteers absolutely out did themselves,” said Dwight Geber, tournament co-director. Gary Hartung, tournament co-director also stated, “It is such an honor to host our valued partners and supporters in this annual golf tournament. We are so lucky to be able to play such a great local course, enjoy the beautiful environment and in the end, support the communities in which we live and work.”

WECIP welcomes any and all businesses and organizations to participate and sponsor this event. In addition to the golfers’ donations, over 25 of Warn Industries and Warn Automotive’ s valued suppliers contributed to the success of this event, through a combination of monetary donations, sponsored holes and product for the raffle.
