Belvac is excited to announce that they will support Jubilee Family Development Center with a gift of $51,724 for Jubilee’s new STEAM Center.
Each year, Belvac runs an internal fundraising campaign to support a local nonprofit organization. This year, Belvac employees supported Jubilee Family Development Center and Jubilee’s new STEAM Center, which will provide educational and training programs for youth and adults in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM).
The STEAM Center will offer programs for youth in robotics, e-sports, graphics, educational games, coding and foreign languages. For youth, the STEAM Center will provide a solid foundation in STEAM principles and generate greater interest in high-demand science and technology-based career fields.
The STEAM Center will also offer programs for adults in welding, machining, computer networking, building trades, Certified Nursing Assistant, commercial driver’s license and HVAC fundamentals. For adults, the STEAM Center will provide opportunities to learn skills and trades that will move unemployed or underemployed adults toward permanent employment through the provision of hands-on workshops, learning labs and soft skills training.
