As a proud supporter of manufacturing education,
MAAG Group, a Dover Company, recently sponsored a Senior Design project with the engineering students of
Virginia Tech’s Mechanical Engineering department.
For the project, MAAG challenged the students to design an anti-seize applicator and bolt sorter, which required programming, mechatronics, manufacturing and electrical knowledge. The project deliverable was a real-world solution that will help facilitate manufacturing and be installed at the MAAG facility in Eagle Rock, VA.
