Dover recently held a successful blood drive in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Illinois. Over 20 donors stepped up to donate, and a total of 26 units of blood were collected.
According to Versiti, a single blood donation can save up to three lives. Thanks to the generosity of Dover's employees, up to 78 lives can potentially be saved through these donations.
"We encourage our employees to get involved in the communities where we operate. By extending our positive impact beyond our operations, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and foster goodwill among our employees," said Joseph Leonard, Vice President of Human Resources at Dover. "We'd like to thank the Dover employees who graciously showed up to donate blood. These donations will go a long way in helping those in need."
Dover plans to continue its community outreach efforts and host additional blood drives in the future. By providing opportunities for employees to give back, Dover hopes to create a positive impact both within and beyond its industry.
