MAAG
and the Dover Foundation, along with a local Ohio community partner, have
committed $10,000 to support high school students studying aspects of manufacturing.
The donation will benefit the Six District Educational Compact which offers
vocational programming to students in six different Ohio educational
districts.
At
MAAG, we believe that manufacturing offers great careers to the next
generation, and to further show our support, we have invested in programs like
Kent High School’s Engineering Academy and The Industrial
Maintenance and Production for Employment Program at Stow-Monroe Falls
High School. Both programs provide hands-on training for manufacturing
processes, machine operations and assembly repair, and the students have
opportunities to intern at local manufacturing facilities, just like MAAG, to
get real-world experience.
